Sessions focused on developing skating skills alongside program components. The two main pillars of this option hone in on technical refinement and creative enhancement.
Technical refinement: designed to maximize individual skating skill, implementation of Grade of Execution (GOE) criteria, plus techniques to ensure optimal execution of competitive elements to enhance the technical score in competition.
Creative enhancement: focused on the aspects of quality Program Components (composition, presentation, skating skills), as well as techniques to enhance performance scores in competition.
These sessions will be comprised of on-ice and off-ice hours. This package is a great option for teams with existing programs looking to enhance choreography. This is also a great camp for off-season development!
Competitive Development
Periodization documents and maintenance tools to maximize the efficacy of training hours. Development models are based on the Coaching Association of Canada’s Long-Term Development guide, an approach widely used by competitive skaters globally. These documents will help focus on the phases of the competitive season, ensuring the pillars of skill training and program development are achieved for long-term sustainability.
This package can be developed as an independent document for your team, or added to any package. Final documents will be transferred online and include video consultation.
